Welcome to the Apothecarium I am Apothecary Brodie and I will be your guide and host through the 40K universe.
Excellent You have returned for part two of the Fabius bile omnibus
What can I say Fabius bile surprises me time and time again.
The second instalment to the omnibus clone lord has left me with a dropped jaw. His love for his creations especially his gland hounds is both a denial of parenthood but also something to smile at from time to time. This novel had it all Necrons, Harlequins, A death guard apothecary (epic character) and a risen primach. There was so much to unpack from this book, Fabius’s interaction with trazyn the infinite has to be one of the funniest and interesting back forths ever, fulgrims return really raises an eyebrow, and Fabius interaction with members of his legion is always a tense and interesting experience.
I highly recommend this novel I am doing my best to not drop to many spoiler’s.
Clone lord reads exceptionally well and has an amazing story arch,
I now move on to the last instalment of the omnibus Man flayer stay tuned.
Quote of the day “If a man dedicates his life to good deeds and the welfare of others, he will die unthanked and unremembered. If he exercises his genius bringing misery and death to billions, his name will echo down through the millennia for a hundred lifetimes. Infamy is always more preferable to ignominy.” Fabius bile
